April Garden

Well, the March winds have nothing on the ones in April. I started my pepper and tomato early this year in pots by the window. I carefully repotted them into larger pots prior to their outdoor debut. I wanted the garden to be better this year, so I built a garden box from some old lumber from mom's and added several bags of garden soil to fill it. Then after a week of warm weather I planted my little tomato plants.

Then the April winds came and blew and blew. My little plants lost a "limb" or two but they could recover. Then the April storms came and terrorized my little garden. There's nothing left but the dirt and the barest of signs that I planted a garden. I'd show a picture of that as well, but it pretty much looks like the before picture.

Thankfully, the smaller plants inside are still around. If they don't make it then I'll head over to the Home Depot to get some plants.
